What we store

One entry in your browser's local storage, named obazaker-consent, that records your choice so we do not ask on every page. It stays in your browser and is never sent to us. It is necessary for the banner to work, so it is always on.

What we do not use

No analytics, no advertising cookies, no social media pixels and no session tracking.

Google Fonts (optional)

With your consent the pages load Plus Jakarta Sans and IBM Plex Sans Arabic from Google Fonts. To deliver them Google receives your IP address and browser details. Without consent the site uses the fonts already on your device and nothing is sent to Google.

Photos from Unsplash (not optional)

The photographs are loaded directly from images.unsplash.com, so Unsplash receives your IP address and browser details when a page opens. They are needed to show the pages, so they are not a switch in Settings, and we list them here for transparency. Unsplash applies its own privacy policy.

Google Maps buttons

The Directions and Visitor reviews buttons are plain links. Google Maps opens only when you click one, in a new tab.

Your choice

The banner offers Accept all, Reject optional and Settings with equal weight. In Settings you can allow Google Fonts alone. The choice applies to every page of the site in both languages.

Changing your mind

The round cookie button at the bottom corner and the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page open the choice again. You can also clear this site's data in your browser settings, and the banner returns.

If you reject

Nothing is loaded from Google and the whole site works with the fonts already on your device.

How long it stays

The stored entry has no expiry date. It stays until you change your choice or clear this site's data in your browser.

Legal basis

Storing the choice is needed to run the banner. Loading Google Fonts depends on your consent under the GDPR and the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law, and you can withdraw it at any time. Showing photographs is part of delivering the page you asked for.

No record on our side

We do not keep a record of your choice on our server, so we cannot look it up for you. The only copy is the one in your browser.

The newsletter form

Submitting the form sends your email address to our server. That is covered by the data protection notice, not by this page.

Coming back later

Once you have chosen, the banner stays closed on later visits. The gear icon in the corner or the link in the footer opens it again at any time.
